About 5 years ago I tried to make & sell handmade jewellery, by the time I mastered a few pieces my daughter had started to crawl and place everything into her mouth – so into my cupboard full of half completed DIY craft supplies it went.

Now im stuck at home not only because of wet weather but I havent found confidence to leave the house with 3 kids after my surgery, I decided to attempt finish a few of my 1/2 completed projects.

I found this youtube How to make wire bird nest charm tutorial, while it look simple enough somehow I dont think my nest turned out the same – maybe next time I’ll use coloured beads instead of silver.

The face my eldest realised it was a bird’s nest made me happy enough to attach it to my jewellery holder and maybe even wear it this week.

I was also trying to follow this tutorial I found at Just somethink i made, but my”kinks” dont seem to look anywhere as funky as hers…..hmmm!

Any tips at where I went wrong AGAIN?……
