My Review
Here I go -Robomaid is round “UFO” shaped & very compact, I received the Champaign colour but they also come in the Red – which I think looks more funky.

How does the Robomaid Work???
At a touch of a button the Robomaid kicks off and starts to vacuum automatically. You can either program it to vacuum til its low battery then it returns to its Docking Station for recharging (about 3 hours), or schedule the time you need it to leave the Docking Station to vacuum – it also returns back for recharge.
I found it more useful to set the Robomaid to begin auto vacuum 15 minutes after I left, so the kids werent following it. lol.
The people behind Robomaid have thought about everything, including “bumper stickers” to protect itself and your furniture also having round corners obviously it doesn’t get into corners, but don’t worry this is where the side brushes come in handy!.
Comparing the noise level to my expensive vacuum, its not as loud but it does have a rattling/buzzing sound -so you can tell where it is at that moment and better yet you can still continue with a conversation without raising your voice.
Watch the Robomaid auto vacuum my living room and on my tiles – I found it did a better job at picking up dirt off the tiles/timber floors then the rug .
The sensors under the Robomaid tell it which way to go, sometimes it goes forward that on the spot clean in round directions then it just goes back wards – like the other men in my life it has a “mind of its own” lol.
The Robomaid was excellent when it came to removing dust & hair off my rugs, believe me that alone is enough for me to fall in love with. For small section, the Robomaid does have spot cleaning option, that vacuums automatically on the spot in different directions.
Mopping the tiles
I did have troubles removing the Dustbin tray, according to the instructions, its just press the button and the Dustbin “will slide out easily” but I had to “shake/wiggle”. I was advise at the beginning that my Robomaid was previously demonstrated on TV, so Im going to blame it on this.

Keep in mind it does take over an hour to vacuum the house automatically compared to when you manually vacuum, but when its time to return to the docking station it has done a good job at the end.
